[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] I’ve been falling in love with yoga for the past 4 years. It started out as a way to stretch my body; I went once a week and was satisfied. Two years ago my regular class was canceled one week and a yoga event was in its place. I decided to go and check it out; I wanted to practice yoga! That day changed everything for me in my yoga world. I met new and interesting people and decided to devote myself to yoga to get the physical strength I was really looking for. I started attending more classes to build my practice. It wasn’t long until I started working one on one with an instructor; that was when I was introduction to Ashtanga. I fell in love with the practice and saw it could deliver so much more than physical results. It was in working with this instructor that yoga teacher training was brought up. At the time I had no intention to teach. By the end of the training it was clear to me that yoga was my path; I’ve always had a passion for teaching and finally found a calling that spoke to my soul. Yoga brings together all of my passions the body, movement of the body, self connection and music. I also enjoy the variety of practice available you can find something for everyone! I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in December 2018.
Following the training I did some soul searching, took a trip, and decided to quit my job of almost 20 years to purse my yoga passion full time! I am excited to share my knowledge, passion as well as continue to grow not only my practice, but knowledge and connection with student and community.
